Brandy - Owner

Brandy has always had a love for animals. Growing up she was surrounded by dogs, cats and reptiles. Everything from lizards, snakes, turtles, tortoises and other exotic pets. Her first job was working at a large, family owned boarding and daycare facility in Ohio. She started as a kennel tech, caring for the daycare and boarding dogs and grew into a management position. After a few years she moved back to Florida and worked as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic. She realized that she wanted to be more hands on with the animals again and became interested in dog training. She found a position instructing puppy classes for a local dog training company and became a full time trainer and later on also managed the business. During her time at the company, she trained hundreds of dogs and really got to understand dog behavior. After 3 years there, she ventured off and went back to a small, family owned, home based boarding company and from there got back into training. During this time she became fascinated with the link between nutrition and behavior and dove head first into learning more about nutrition. This led her to a position managing a local pet store, focusing on holistic care and nutrition. She is also a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist and is always continuing her education in canine/feline nutrition and behavior.
